Welcome back to middle school. This time around, it's magical !
Play as Hogwarts students in unpredictable and fantastic adventures.
The game has been designed to be flexible, adapting to any time period and any challenge. Play as young Hufflepuffs struggling to survive the daily grind of school under the domination of a Slytherin bully, a diverse team of seasoned students defending the school against the onslaught of the reincarnation of Herpo the Foul, a band of renegade Slytherins under the rule of Voldemort, and more.
Anything is possible.
Hogwarts Express is a rules-lite tabletop role-playing game, quick to set up without any preparation, neither for the players nor for the game master. You only need a few 6-sided dice to play after about 30 minutes of characters creation (or a few minutes if you chose everything randomly).
This system puts a strong emphasis on improvisation and player involvement in the storyline. Have fun!
This game by Clément Domergue uses the Hopes & Dreams system ruleset from René-Pier Deshaies-Gélinas, adapted to fit the setting.
I took a few characters traits from an upcoming Keita Creations game, and the Prophecies table from Omphalos, by Rise Up Comus, and expanded it a bit.
The game is free. If you have money to spare, consider donating to your local trans community and associations. ✊🏽
NB: The rulebook is nothing fancy yet, but I plan on doing a more elaborate design later. For now, it will do.

Really love the game, the rules, the design. It's perfectly hitting the sweet spot of my Hogwarts hyperfixation.
Will there ever be an update regarding the NPCs table? Cause there is none on page 24.

There will be a HUGE update at some point in the year, yes (so many errors right now, there's even some french left on a few pages).
Right now I'm working on another game using the same system, where you can play anything that comes to mind. It'll be called LIMITLESS. Once it's done (I'm 90% there, writing wise), I'll do the Hogwarts update.
If you like the system itself, it's based on the game "Hopes & Dreams" by FariRPG, an industrial-magical runepunk rpg inspired by Arcane.
