Nemesis

Bring life to a legendary greek Hero or Heroine from out of the wildest tales of the Epics. Nemesis is a solo/single-player tabletop role-playing game, with no preparation needed. Use the randomness of dice and cards to inspire your adventure in mythical ancient Greece. Keep track of all your exploits, journaling everytime you rest, writing your epic poem.

You are the child of Nemesis, Goddess of retribution. May it be fortune or vengeance and, more so often, inescapable divine punishment. You are tasked by fate to act on her divine whims and destroy three mythical Beasts that have offended the gods by their hubris.

This game by Clément Domergue uses the Firelights system ruleset from René-Pier Deshaies-Gélinas, and was made during the 2023 Firelights Jam.
It adds new mechanics on top of the basic ruleset, focused on making the player go back and forth all around the map. Returning to Lairs to finally slay a Beast with the proper weapon, fleeing a former lover who stalkes you and getting drag back accross the world by the army of a spiteful Monarch.

Coming back to regions previously visited will force the player to face the consequences of its previous mischiefs and glories.
